Recovery Management![]() Recovery Management is an outreach program helping people manage addiction and co-occurring mental health problems. It offers a communtiy based approach to treatment for a period of one year or more. When traditional substance abuse treatment approaches have been unable to acheive desired outcomes, Recovery Management is an innovative option. Through a therapeutic alliance with a master's level social worker, each client is offered individualized support in her or his own environment. The Recovery Manager's counseling and case management services may also be supplemented by refferals to agencies best suited to meet the client's specific area of need. Objective: To provide assistance to clients in managing the chronic diseases of addiction and co-occurring mental illness, while maximizing quality of life and minimizing acute treatment episodes through continuous community based treatment, coordination of services, and support in meeting biopsychosocial needs. Eligibility: Kent County residents may be referred to Recovery Management by any Network 180 chemical dependency treatment provider. Recovery Management Services are available to clients after traditional treatment methods have been employed without satisfactory outcomes. In addition to a diagnosis of chemical dependence, most eligible clients will have a co-occurring mental health diagnosis or another factor which significantly complicates the recovery process. Clients must be willing to participate in the program. Funding: Funding is provided by Network 180. For more information please contact us by phone at 616-336-3909 |
