Family Engagement Therapy (FET)

The FET program represents an expansion of the substance abuse services available in Kent County.  Comprehensive family-focused substanse abuse services are offered which include: assessements, individual and family treatment planning, and collateral care coordination.  Services are provided to female head of households and are available to all members of the family and/or household residents.

Objective:

Reduce the cycle of substance abuse within families by treating the whole family and not just the individual identified as the user/abuser.

Eligibilty:

Any woman living in Kent County who is willing to seek treatment for substance abuse issues.  Services are also available to her spouse or partner and to her school-aged children upon request.

Funding:

The Family Engagement Therapy Program is funded through Network 180.  Network 180 selected Family Outreach Center as one of the providers of this service.
