Receptionist Bi-Lingual Spanish 
This position greets clients, handles a multi-line phone and schedules appointments. The receptionist opens and distributes incoming mail as well as insuring that out-going mail is properly metered. There is significant interaction with clients and staff. We are looking for a team worker who can take initiative as well as take direction. There are other front office duties. This position also works one evening per week until 8 pm.
We are a diverse agency serving a diverse population. We need a full-time receptionist in this fast-paced office.

Outpatient Therapist (Full and Part-Time Openings) 
Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Abuse program requires a Master's in Social Work plus licensure in the State of Michigan (LMSW). The program has successfully integrated its mental health and substance abuse outpatient services into a single program that has a strong emphasis on serving low income and people of color with co-occurring disorders. Children, Adolescents, Adults and their respective families are the focus in a person/family centered approach to addressing the wide range of issues that impact both individuals and family functioning.
Services will be provided at our main office as well as several new outreach sites that include schools in the greater Grand Rapids area and other social service organizations where our targeted populations are served.
Responsibilities Include: 1) Assessing mental health and substance use disorders using the DSM IV diagnostic code; 2) Developing and implementing clinical interventions appropriate to the identified needs of the client population; 3) recognizing the need for psychiatric services i.e. assessment for the use of psychotropic medication and making referrals for in-house services; 4) Making referrals for other supportive services (group); 5) Ability to work independently (60) active clients; 6) Timely completion of all Clinical reports; and 7) Working as a member of the team. Demonstrated knowledge of mental health and substance abuse disorders across the age and gender spectrum is a must as well as experience in working with the service population.
Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred. Many of our outreach sites are located in schools where Spanish language is necessary to providing service.

Part-Time Community Live Supports Worker 
The Community Living Supports (CLS) Worker will provide support to children and youth with an emotional disturbance or a developmental disability in the home and community settings.
Responsibilities include one-to-one interactions with the youth to increase/maintain self-sufficiency through skill building in four areas: independent living skills, heatlh care, personal care training, and behavioral/productivity needs.

Family Engagement Therapy Program 
Family Engagement Therapy Program has an immediate opening for a fully licensed master's level social worker with a substance use disordered credential (CAAC etc.). Experience working with women with substance use disorders with dual issue of mental health is required. Services are home and community based and require a good working knowledge of community resources including treatment options.

Drug and Alcohol Assessor 
Experience:
A masters degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
Two to Five years experience in conducting drug and alcohol assessments is preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to work independently with good organizational, time management and written and verbal communication skills is required. Training and/or experience in working with low income and people of color is desired. The assessments will be conducted in the homes of the individuals being referred by the Department of Human Services Children's Protective Services Division and child welfare workers. The successful candidate should be able to complete the drug and alcohol. assessment from the home. Knowledge of the local resources associated with treating mental health and substance using individuals is necessary.
Compensation:
Payment is on a fee for service basis at a rate of $30.00 per hour. Each assessment is scheduled for a two block of time and producing a report is reimbursed at $15.00 per report. Mileage is also paid. This position has no other benefits.
